Dr. Dean
is the Medical Director of Vitamin Research Products (VRP)
in Carson City, Nevada, where he advises the company on matters of health,
nutrition, and product formulation, and is Medical Director of the Watson
Health Center in Milton, Florida. He is a world-renowned expert in
anti-aging and life extension and has served on the Board of Directors
of the American Aging Association (AAA)
and was a member of the founding Board of Directors of the American
Academy of Anti-Aging Medicine (A4M).
| Dr. Dean is a graduate of the US Military Academy at West Point. He is a former infantry officer with combat service as an advisor to the Vietnamese Rangers on the Cambodian border, and served as an instructor at the U. S. Army Mountain Ranger School in north Georgia. After graduating from Han Yang University College of Medicine in Seoul, Korea, Dr. Dean spent seven years as an Army Flight Surgeon and Diving Medical Officer including three years as a member of the Delta Force. Dr. Dean was a naval Flight Surgeon for 6 years in Pensacola, where he retired as a commander in 1996.

He has written extensively on the biology of aging and has co-authored the best sellers, Smart Drugs & Nutrients, Smart Drugs II: The Next Generation, the critically-acclaimed (but unfortunately out-of-print), Neuroendocrine Theory of Aging and Degenerative Disease, and GHB: The Natural Mood Enhancer. He has pioneered the development of a means to measure the physiological and biochemical effects of aging, which has culminated in the Inner Age program, as well as developed revolutionary nutritional and pharmacological protocols to delay aging and ameliorate age-related diseases (see Anti-Aging page).
